Dr. Danielle Alexander is a Georgia Licensed Professional Counselor with over 7 years of experience providing mental health services to people ranging in ages from 4 years old to late adulthood. Dr. Alexander is the Program Manager for the Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Disabilities as well as a Co-Coordinator for Project Aware with the Department of Education. Dr. Alexander holds a bachelors in Sociology with a minor in Psychology from Hampton University, a master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Mercer University, and a doctorate in Professional Counseling from the University of West Georgia. Dr. Alexander has therapeutic experience within Juvenile Justice centers, psychiatric hospitals, and school settings. Dr. Alexander also has her own private practice, L.O.V.E. LLC where she is dedicated to supporting and guiding moms new to motherhood.. She believes that this population requires specialized assistance in making effective transitions and learning to manage their mental health during these transformative periods.
