Tera (she/her) is a licensed clinical social worker based in Maryland. She earned her undergraduate degree in Social Work from the University of Maryland, Baltimore County, and her Master of Social Work (MSW) with a specialization in Children and Families from the University of Maryland, Baltimore.
With extensive experience in nonprofit leadership, Tera has dedicated much of her career to programs supporting individuals and families navigating life's challenges, often with a system-of-care approach. She currently serves as the Director of Behavioral Health Support Services within the Mental Health department at JSSA. In addition, Tera is in private practice where she focuses on supporting individuals to overcome the isolation of anxiety, supporting women facing infertility and motherhood, and guiding young adults transitioning to independence.
Outside of work, Tera is a proud wife and mother to three energetic boys and a lovable boxer-pit named Piggy Sue. Fully embracing her “sports mom” era, Tera spends much of her free time cheering for her children as they compete in wrestling, baseball, basketball and football. When she’s not on the sidelines, Tera enjoys unwinding with a good book.
