Steve Blank is the Regional Vice President of Operations for the Gulf Coast Region of Florida at WestCare. He brings 34 years of experience working with substance use and mental health treatment and recovery. Mr. Blank’s experience leading organizations in the field of treatment and recovery remains his passion today.
Growing up in Philadelphia, he had the privilege of starting his career around Kensington, serving the community for 17 years with Guadenzia Inc. Amongst his various roles, he has been responsible for the development and oversight of multiple programs in multiple states, including Florida, Delaware, and Pennsylvania. Additionally, Mr. Blank has led initiatives through the Amnesty Program with the Ocala Police Department, providing individuals struggling with substance use with immediate access to treatment. Since moving to Pinellas County, he has been an active community member, serving as the Co-chair for the Pinellas County Opioid Task Force.
Mr. Blank received his Master of Human Services Degree from Lincoln University in 1999. He holds the following certifications: International Certification as Certified Co-Occurring Disorders Professional Diplomate, Certified Recovery Coach, and Certified Motivational Interventionist.
