Jennifer Hilton is the Director of Training for the WestCare Foundation, Inc., a family of nonprofit behavioral health and human services organizations operating in more than 18 US states and territories. In her role, Ms. Hilton coordinates knowledge development opportunities for WestCare’s workforce of 2100+ personnel, including all of WestCare’s seminars, workshops, webinars, and online eLearning courses. Her educational background is in psychology and social service business administration. Additionally, she is a part-time instructor for the College of Southern Nevada (CSN) and St. Pete College of Florida. Jennifer has been working to help increase mental health awareness in numerous sectors since 2014, including, but not limited to, social services, health care, law enforcement, criminal justice, and the public. She is a passionate teacher who advocates for special populations, including US military veterans, law enforcement officers, LGBTQ+ individuals and their families. Ms. Hilton is a Triple Certified Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) Instructor, certified GAINS Trauma Informed Trainer, safeTALK, ASIST Trainer, and Crisis Prevention Intervention Instructor. She is considered a Subject Matter Expert in the field of training. She presents at conferences nationwide on Trauma, Trauma Informed Care, Mental Health Awareness, Mental Health First Aid, Suicide Prevention, and the Therapeutic Community Treatment model.
