Mandy Danehart currently serves as a Learning Specialist and the Youth Mental Health First Aid Coordinator for AMIkids. She has been with the organization for a year and a half. Her position’s primary role is to coordinate the Youth Mental Health First Aid training schedule, manage participant registrations, facilitate instructor led sessions, and make connections to expand our reach for the Youth Mental Health First Aid initiative. Ms. Danehart holds a bachelor’s degree in criminal justice administration and a master’s degree in psychology. Her experience includes 24 years working within the behavioral health nonprofit sector helping youth and families in Ohio. While in Ohio, she served as the program manager for a crisis stabilization center helping youth who were experiencing mental health crisis. Her experience also includes over four years of coaching and training residential and direct care staff, providing clinical group therapy, and connecting youth and their families to services in the community.
