Jaime Montgomery, ASCP-PBT, CHPM - Mrs. Montgomery attended LBCC to become a phlebotomist and start a career in health care. She began this journey at Good Samaritan Hospital working in a trauma hospital, she then became nationally certified as a American Society for Clinical Pathology(PBT) ASCP-PBT. She then moved organizations, and Led a team of pre-analytical staff including the departments of: pathology, cytology, microbiology, lab assistants, and a staff of 53 phlebotomists at Kaiser Permanente Sunnyside hospital Laboratory in Clackamas Oregon. Jaime now leads the new generation of health education as the Director with Oregon Pacific Area Health Education Center. Jaime is a certified healthcare project manager. Jaime is an instructor for Adult and Youth Mental Health First Aid for the National council for Mental Well-being with extended training focus on EMS/Fire & Veteran and Military Families & Rural Communities, older adults, and higher education.. Also, Jaime is an American Heart Association (AHA) BLS/CPR Instructor. Jaime also volunteers for her Local Fire District and is currently a certified Firefighter/EMT along with Wildland firefighting.
