Jenae Sanchez, BA, (she/her) is a proud Keres speaking San Felipe tribal member from the Pueblo of San Felipe. She graduated from Stanford University with a Bachelor of Arts degree and returned to her community to impact children’s development and lifelong outcomes. Ms. Sanchez works on behalf of the Pueblo of San Felipe as Director for the Systems of Care programs, managing service and research grants all with a common emphasis on mental health through a trauma-informed and strengths-based lens. Through her organization, she seeks to elevate the health and wellness of Indigenous Peoples by strengthening access to culturally appropriate health services across the life spectrum. She is motivated by the resiliency and strength of her ancestors. She aims to honor and support her tribal members and their stories, for they continually seed and live cultural values and practices that are integral to perpetuation of Pueblo Peoples. Jenae is a current YMHFA Instructor and leads implementation for training throughout the Pueblo of San Felipe.
