Julie Schillim, PhD, LLP, LPC, has over 20 years of clinical experience including experience in supervision and leadership. At the National Council for Mental Wellbeing, Dr. Schillim provides coaching, consulting, training and technical assistance across many different subject and project areas to communities and organizations working to improve their approaches to their work, teamwork, organizational work or community approach to care.
Her PhD is in industrial-organizational psychology with a focus on systems of care that improve overall wellbeing and performance for individuals, organizations and communities. Prior to the National Council, she was a leader within the Community Mental Health system in the State of Michigan. She also participated in a range of service areas and community partnerships. While her community-based work varies across service areas, Dr. Schillim has provided extensive clinical work with youth and families and adults with extensive experience in trauma-informed approaches to care.
