    Tom Morgan - Professional Bio
    Tom Morgan is a seasoned IT executive with over 20 years of experience driving technology solutions to enhance business operations. As the current CIO at Merakey, he leads strategic IT initiatives, ensuring service delivery, innovation, and security across the organization. Merakey is a leading non-profit provider of community-based education and human services, offering a wide range of integrated services in behavioral health, education, autism, and developmental disabilities to over 50,000 individuals across 12 states.
    Tom is passionate about using technology to advance healthcare and actively contributes at both state and national levels. He serves on the Pennsylvania Telehealth Advisory Committee, advocating for behavioral health needs, and has participated in the HIMSS presentation review committee and the Carequality Patient Authorization Policy workgroup. In 2017, he received the SMARTCEO Executive Management Award for excellence as a CIO/CTO.
    Previously, Tom held leadership roles at DrugScan, NewCourtland, and the Commission on Graduates of Foreign Nursing Schools, where he led IT strategy, operations, and technology integrations. His background includes overseeing complex IT systems, disaster recovery planning, and network management. His extensive experience in IT governance and healthcare technology positions him as a leader in driving organizational growth through innovation.
    Tom holds a Bachelor’s degree in Management Economics with a Minor in Computer Science from Rutgers College. He lives in Warminster, PA, with his wife, two children, and their energetic Labradoodle, Winston. His son is in high school and active on the robotics team, while his daughter attends Quinnipiac University, majoring in English. Outside of work, Tom is an accomplished bass guitarist and regularly performs with local bands.
