Sategna (Tina) Nisby-Gibbs, MEd, MS, NCC, LMHC, CCM works under the Executive Director of Mental Health and Wellness (MHW) at Kaiser Permanente – WA (KPWA). In the role of MHW Program Manager, her primary scope includes focus on the areas of Access, Equity, Quality, and Safety. To support the Post Master’s Associate Program (PMAP), she provides individual and group clinical supervision. For expansion of the Collaborative Care Model (CoCM), she is part of the leadership team with significant contributions to processes that guide clinical implementation, training, model fidelity, and program sustainability.
For over two decades, she engaged in various program development roles mainly aimed at empowering youth and beginning with shifting language from ‘at-risk’ to ‘at-promise’ youth. In 2018, she joined KPWA in the role of MH Care Coordinator (MHCC), which involved triaging patients for outpatient mental health and addiction care services. She later transitioned to the role of MH Hospital Liaison (HL), which involved utilization management for patients admitted to inpatient services. By participating on several planning interdepartmental and interdisciplinary committees, she fuels her passion and commitment to championing work related to advancing EID efforts and is honored to have obtained a certificate of Equity Guardianship at KPWA. Aligning with her love of life-long learning, Tina earned her dual B.S. degree in psychology and sociology, her M.Ed. degree in human services, and a M.S. degree in clinical mental health counseling with forensic emphasis.
