Christy Johnson, MA, QMHP, graduated from the University of Northern Iowa with a degree in Mental Health Counseling in 1995. She is a seasoned mental health professional with over 25 years of dedicated experience across nonprofit agencies, educational institutions, and private clinics. Christy has developed a deep expertise in delivering compassionate and effective mental health care.
Currently, Christy serves as the Outpatient Supervisor at Riverview Center for Growth in Eugene, Oregon, where she is committed to enhancing the mental well-being of underserved populations. Her work is characterized by a specialized focus on trauma treatment, utilizing advanced neurofeedback techniques to facilitate healing and recovery for those impacted by trauma.
In addition to her clinical work, Christy is a senior trainer with the Neurofeedback Advocacy Project. In this role, she shares her extensive knowledge and experience with other professionals, advancing the practice of neurofeedback and advocating for its benefits within the mental health community.
