Stephanie Vazquez is a passionate advocate for substance use prevention services and mental health awareness, with a special focus on the Latinx community. In 2022, she graduated from National Louis University with a degree in Criminal Justice and a minor in Human Services, which equipped her with the knowledge to make a meaningful impact in her field.
Currently, Stephanie works at the Kenneth Young Center, where she specializes in Substance Use Prevention Services and Mental Health Awareness Training. Through her work, she has the privilege of engaging with young adults and communities, emphasizing the importance of preventing underage drinking and substance use. She believes that early education and awareness are powerful tools, not just for the present generation but also for past generations and those yet to come.
Stephanie’s commitment extends beyond immediate efforts—she is dedicated to raising awareness and providing education that helps create a healthier and safer path for past, present, and future generations. By prioritizing substance use prevention and mental health in the Latinx community, Stephanie aims to contribute to a brighter and healthier future for all.
