Elise Gold is a Clinical Social Worker, a Licensed Creative Arts Therapist, a Certified Psychodramatist, and is now in training in Somatic Experiencing. Before her work as a therapist, Elise worked as the Executive Director at Jewish Family Service of Orange County, NY, and was an Adjunct Professor at State University of New York at New Paltz. She has over 40 years of experience in human services and nonprofit work. Elise has been active in areas of social justice and human rights for many years and is the co-founder of the Maya Gold Foundation. More than any other professional, academic or volunteer experience, what fuels her work most is her personal loss and ongoing healing journey. Elise welcomes the opportunity to assist others as they find their path to live with gratitude and joy while holding their grief and other challenges that life itself presents.
