Director of YouthLine Programs
Emily Moser is a member of the Leadership Team for Lines for Life, a regional non-profit providing prevention education, policy advocacy and 24/7 crisis intervention services. Ms. Moser is the Director of YouthLine Programs and oversees the agencies’ youth-related services which include a unique national youth peer-to-peer support, help, and crisis line. Other key components of the YouthLine Programming include mental health education, training, and outreach, youth development and mentoring for over two hundred youth volunteers annually, statewide school suicide prevention, and a pilot program for online crisis support via social media. Emily has been on staff at Lines for Life for over a decade working in community prevention, prevention education, and crisis intervention with a primary focus on youth. She has held earlier positions as Director of Parenting and Youth Programming and Program Manager for Parent Prevention.
Ms. Moser is a trainer in several evidence based mental health and suicide related programs and has also provided Crisis Intervention Training and Consult to agencies throughout Oregon. Ms. Moser has actively participated in statewide youth development, via the Oregon Alliance to Prevent Suicide and Southwest Portland Boards for youth athletics.
Ms. Moser holds a Master of Arts in Teaching degree from Lewis and Clark College and a Master of Public Administration degree from Portland State University. Ms. Moser attended the University of Oregon where she received a Bachelor of Arts degree from the School of Business and the School of Dance.
Ms. Moser spends most of her free time outdoors with family, which includes her husband Greg, two boys, three dogs and a cat.
