With over a decade of experience in the behavioral health field, Amy Wunderlich has dedicated her career to supporting individuals and communities in times of critical need. Since entering the field in 2012, Amy has a high focus on crisis intervention, acute care coordination, behavioral health systems management, and people as a whole.
A passionate advocate for accessible and compassionate mental health services, Amy has worked across various settings including crisis response teams, emergency departments, community mental health centers, and mobile outreach programs. Her work has consistently emphasized the importance of trauma-informed care, collaborative crisis planning, and equitable access to urgent behavioral health support.
Throughout her career, Amy has played key roles in developing and improving crisis response protocols, training multidisciplinary teams, and implementing innovative approaches to de-escalation and stabilization. Amy and some of her team went through zero suicide academy in 2021. Through this, her leadership and hands-on experience have made a meaningful impact on both clients and colleagues, fostering safer and more responsive systems of care.
