Wednesday, May 7, 2025
9:40 AM – 10:00 AM ET
Location: Ballroom AB
Corinna Kelley, MPH, USAF Veteran, and Founder of C.R.E.I.D. Consulting, examines how health research often traps individuals within limiting labels like race and gender, failing to reflect the complexity of lived experiences. As a Black and Latina woman, she shares her journey of rediscovery and resilience, along with her family’s untold stories of overcoming generational challenges. Drawing on 20 years in public health, Corinna advocates for a holistic approach to healing, emphasizing resilience as a critical factor in community health. This inspiring talk challenges professionals to honor cultural strengths, rethink methodologies, and empower individuals to lead their own health journeys.
