With a distinguished career in health economics and outcomes research (HEOR), Pin Xiang has demonstrated a commitment to advancing mental health care through evidence-based strategies. Pin currently serves as the Director of HEOR Value Demonstration – Mental Health at Boehringer Ingelheim. In this role, he manages real-world evidence generation and value propositions to support the company’s mental health portfolio. He also oversees research collaborations, evidence integrations, and cross-functional alignments to ensure robust evidence packages for commercialization and access in the US. Before joining Boehringer Ingelheim in 2020, Pin served as the HEOR Value Evidence Outcome Liaison for key payors in California and Nevada, where he communicated and implemented clinical, economic, and humanistic value evidence for all Boehringer Ingelheim products. Pin’s career also includes roles at Amgen, Novartis, and Baylor Scott & White, where he focused on generating HEOR evidence and managing contracting and formulary processes. His diverse experience across these organizations has equipped him with a comprehensive understanding of the healthcare landscape.
