In her role at Jefferson Center for Mental Health, Jessica is responsible for driving strategic business development efforts and she leads the communications, community engagement, and philanthropy department. She is currently focused on designing and building a comprehensive recovery campus that will include crisis, withdrawal management, wellness, and substance use treatment services in Lakewood, CO. This campus will serve people all throughout the Front Range and offer hope and healing to thousands of people. She is also focused on cultivating partnerships with commercial payers to support innovative and impactful models of care for their members seeking care at Jefferson Center. Jessica recently completed work on an affordable housing project that offers 40 apartments to people experiencing homelessness and helped foster multiple partnerships with community-based organizations to expand integrated behavioral health services.
Prior to joining Jefferson Center, she was the Executive Director Colorado’s largest independent pediatric practice, Every Child Pediatrics, for 6 years. Earlier in her career she worked on state reform efforts that led to the establishment of Colorado’s health information exchange, now called Contexture, and health insurance exchange, Connect for Health Colorado.
Jessica has a master's of science in public health from the University of Colorado, Denver, and bachelor's degrees in psychology and religious studies from Westmont College, California.
