Laura has worked in the research field for 15 years, initially in academic research, and currently evaluation research. She holds a Bachelor's degree in English, and a Master of Public Health. She is interested substance use disorder and mental health recovery, specifically how demographic factors may impact a person's recovery journey. Laura has been with the Richmond Behavioral Health Authority (RBHA) for over nine years and has worked on projects focusing on individuals with HIV/AIDS, at risk for suicide, and the SMI/SUD co-occurring populations. Outside of work, Laura enjoys spending time with her husband and daughter, reading, and exercising.
