Precyous currently serves as the Housing Director for Community Health Improvement Partners (CHIP) - Recovery Residence Association (RRA) in San Diego, Ca, where she works to educate the community on Quality Standards in shared housing. Her and her team also work to provide resources necessary to connect individuals to stable housing and promote wellness and improved quality of life. Precyous also holds the position of Co-Chair for the San Diego County Behavioral Health Services Housing Council. She is also certified in Housing and Urban Development (HUD) Housing Quality Standards and is a Certified Opioid Overdose Prevention and Response Trainer.
With a longstanding history in housing and residential services, Precyous has worked with various nonprofit organizations to facilitate access to Permanent Supportive Housing (PSH) for underserved and vulnerable populations across Southern California. She deeply values the importance of PSH and its impact on diverse communities and populations.
Precyous is passionate about advocacy and building meaningful community connections, all while employing trauma-informed care practices. She strongly believes in the principle that "Housing is Healthcare," and her commitment to this belief has driven her to speak at conferences nationwide on the value of quality shared housing that upholds dignity for both residents and housing providers.
Through her leadership and dedication, Precyous continues to champion housing as a foundational element of well-being and a critical component of community health.
