Libby Haight joined Washburn in 2018 as a Spanish-Speaking Crisis Stabilization Therapist. She worked closely with Latinx families experiencing mental health crises. She moved into the position of Supervisor of the Crisis Stabilization Program a couple of years later. Following her experience working closely with Crisis Stabilization clinicians, Libby moved into the role of Director of Intensive Community-Based Services. Prior to becoming a social worker, Libby lived for 10 years in Mexico City, Mexico collaborating with local organizations in their efforts to promote greater transparency and accountability in government spending on anti-poverty efforts.
Libby earned a Bachelor’s Degree in International Relations, Spanish and Theater Arts from the University of Minnesota. She holds a Master’s in Public Policy from the University of Chicago, and a Master’s in Social Work from the University of Minnesota.
