Cambria King is a Senior Peer Navigator at UPMC Magee-Women’s Hospital in Pittsburgh, PA. There, she provides peer support, harm reduction education, and advocacy for individuals with substance use disorders (SUDs) in both inpatient and outpatient medical settings.
A Certified Recovery Specialist (CRS) and dedicated advocate, Cambria is committed to harm reduction, patient-centered care, and expanding access to evidence-based care for people who use drugs.
In 2023, she founded the PA Methadone Advocacy Group (PAMAG), a statewide initiative dedicated to expanding methadone access, reducing stigma, and advocating for patient-centered policies. Through this work, she focuses on improving treatment accessibility, supporting policy reform, and promoting community education to ensure equitable, judgment-free care for all individuals, regardless of their treatment choices.
Cambria is passionate about advancing harm reduction strategies, improving healthcare access, and strengthening the role of Peer Navigators and Certified Recovery Specialists within healthcare systems.
