Hannah Sanborn is a Health Educator Consultant for the Florida Department of Health in Manatee County and is the county’s designated Minority Health Liaison. Hannah is a certified Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) Adult and teen Instructor, as well as a MHFA Coordinator, working to facilitate Youth, Adult, and teen MHFA courses in Manatee County. Formerly, Hannah worked on Manatee County’s Overdose Data to Action Grant, and led the local Students Working Against Tobacco (SWAT) program. Hannah collaborates with community partners on the Minority Health Plan, Manatee County’s Community Health Improvement Plan (CHIP) and serves as a liaison to the Manatee Healthcare Alliance’s Youth Development CHIP Subcommittee to ensure progress toward CHIP goals and objectives. Hannah is a graduate of Florida State University where she obtained a Bachelor of Science in Public Health. Most recently, her accomplishments include presenting at the Florida Public Health Association's 2024 Annual Education Conference and serving as the county health department’s Wellness Team Co-Lead.
