Jenn Scott, BS, Prevention and Outreach Coordinator
Jenn Scott joined Klamath Basin Behavioral Health (KBBH) in 2022 as a Prevention and Outreach Coordinator. She holds a Bachelor’s in Health Promotion and Health Behavior from Oregon State University and is currently completing her Master of Public Health at the University of Alaska Anchorage. In her role, Jenn coordinates suicide prevention and postvention efforts in Klamath County and leads the local suicide prevention coalition, You Matter to Klamath.
Jenn is a certified trainer in programs such as Question, Persuade, Refer (QPR); Applied Suicide Intervention Skills Training (ASIST); Mental Health First Aid (MHFA); and Connect Postvention. Through hundreds of free community trainings, she works to reduce stigma and build awareness around mental health and suicide prevention.
Her passion lies in using public health approaches to foster a supportive community and encourage help-seeking behaviors in the behavioral health world. In her free time, Jenn enjoys exploring the outdoors and spending time with family and friends.
